I've finished the final set of widgets but I want to squeeze in a few more updates for next Alpha so stay tuned next week.

So far here is what is coming in this Alpha update from last one:

• Added new mechanism to handle longest chain swaps allowing all widgets to "undo transactions"

• Improved multi-smart contract realtime syncing (as we move towards Uniswap data)

• Improved syncing performance and logic as well as added "triple check" mechanism to ensure data is correct and accurate even with realtime syncing

• Introduced new pattern eliminating ~80% of current code for FLUX smart contract syncing while retaining all of the same functionality. These common patterns across smart contracts will allow us to quickly add new realtime Ethereum data points to the network.

• Updated all widgets to handle new syncing data structure & add support for longest Ethereum chain swaps

Here are a couple of things I want to fix up before the next Alpha release:

• Fix filtering dropdown & add new filtering option (which will be default): FLUX Burned

• Add Ethereum block "enrichment" to fix timestamps

• Finish reconnection script for Web3 (I am partly done this)

Hey guys,

I have finally completed upgrade of first realtime widget to support Ethereum longest chain swaps. This means that the widget can now "undo" transactions in realtime. This update also features a new system to spawn data points on the fly so the whole table in screenshot with pagination and multiple data points is now just under 100 lines of code.

This will allow us to quickly hook into any smart contract and extract data points with ease. Tomorrow I'll update the other widgets to handle this new format.

What is next?

Next week we'll enable our realtime Ethereum block enrichment. This will fix the timestamps on transactions (while also supporting Ethereum longest chain swaps).

After that we'll add new global ledger so you can see and filter transactions that you want.

This will bring us into our next set of data points for Uniswap. We'll start small with tracking per-address liqudity and take it from there.

Tomorrow I should have an update on Alpha servers with the new syncing data structure. 🔥

Finally finished the new syncing for the longest chain swaps on Ethereum. Now we can finally move ahead and work on improving the widgets.

We currently have three realtime widgets and I found an amazing realtime pattern that formed here for optimization. As we target Uniswap syncing next (in it's own Docker container for scale) it is crucial to find these optimizations and do them upfront as they allow us to rapidly add new realtime data points.

As we step into land of multi-smart contract realtime data syncing the whole network will start to feel alive. These new patterns allow us to quickly hook in any token or DeFi platform into the network.

This next Alpha update is probably the most exciting one yet. I can't wait to jump onto Global ledger next where realtime syncing will be amazing. 🔥

I am finishing up our initial implementation of the Ethereum longest chain swaps. This will give us ability to undo transactions and give an additional layer of data integrity verification. This update will also come with another round of performance updates.

Additionally we now have an improved structure so we can base logic on sets of events. This is crucial in figuring out complex Uniswap transaction.

I should be able to have this build up and running on Alpha servers this week.

** What is next? **

After finishing realtime widget updates to utilize this new structure we can expand to some new data points! My priority will be to utilize the new realtime transaction streaming on a new "Transactions" tab.

This will show detailed ledger (similar to per-address ledger) but on global scale. So you can get detailed & filtered global overview of everything that happens on DAM/FLUX ecosystems in realtime. 🔥

The new version of Pro analytics is finally up on the Alpha servers. You can now check out realtime block updates on the Stats page 👍

Currently the time is incorrect on transactions, will finish that up tomorrow. This update comes with a large number of backend changes and the current goal is to see what kind of issues we'll run into. Once the syncing stuff is out of the way we can focus on new realtime data points.

Next week the goal is all about the longest chain swaps and making sure all the current widgets are updated in realtime as well so be sure to follow for updates. (Also attached latest leaderboard for minted FLUX) 🔥

Two long nights of realtime updates to integrate Ethereum web3 directly into our analytics Framework but it was totally worth it. This update comes with a whole slew of core updates including:

• Ability to analyze any Ethereum smart contract regardless of it's size (Ex: Uniswap)

• Reworked the realtime Ethereum sync to work better with the web3 structure

• Faster syncing (We can process the entire history of FLUX in under 30 seconds)

• Realtime block updates for stats page. You will see most recent block number, hash and parent hash as soon as they occur WITHOUT need for Metamask

• Further split up the code structure. The whole syncing processes now run completely in their own Docker container. This means we can wrap any Ethereum Smart Contract into Realtime Docker Wrapper. So for heavier smart contracts like Uniswap, they can run in their own Docker container while still getting all the realtime benefits.

What is next?

Now that we have realtime Ethereum data we need to be able to handle Longest Chain Swaps. This is critical for perfect ledger because we have a running balance and need to be able to "undo" transactions in there so everything needs to be accounted for.
