Decided to take some time to do another round of small Quality Of Life updates. I've been doing a lot of demos of Datamine Network and took down some areas for improvement.
There will be a bunch of updates to various areas of the website. Today I've made some updates to Addresses page which will now display overburned amounts capping the displayed text at 10x. When showing this to some people they though there were users with 345x burn multiplier even though it caps out at 10x.
Another small change here is that we'll properly display Unlocked addresses instead of showing "0" for locked-in DAM. Some people were confused how that worked.
One last change for the day was to show over-burned address bonuses. over-burned FLUX is permanently destroyed from circulation and since user unlocked their DAM that FLUX does not benefit anyone (and is not counted towards global multiplier).
Aiming to get a small release out this weekend with a few QOL changes like these. 🔥

Today's Pool Inflation (Based on 54.3487% FLUX is Uniswap Pool): 769.24
FLUX Fees from Uniswap Pool Today: $10.97 = 18.22
When Fees match Inflation we eliminate FLUX inflation completely from Uniswap pool alone.
That means we need 769.24-18.22=751.02 FLUX = $452.07 USD in daily fees to completely remove FLUX inflation. Let's say price goes down 10x to $0.06, that means we only need $45.20 USD in pool fees to counter FLUX inflation.
What makes this great is if we take 452.07*31=$14,014.17 USD that means at current prices we only need to generate $14,014.17 USD in pool fees throughout the month to completely remove FLUX inflation at current price point ($0.604602).
I finished another new data point that will be launched in Tomorrow's update. This is the long awaited "FLUX Monthly Burn Ratio Decay" which previously has not been seen.
This chart will tell you how fast your burn ratio changes per month. Currently we're at 24.41% that means your 10x Burn bonus will become 7.559x in one months.
The BEST part of this is that we can witness this ratio go down overtime. As more FLUX is burned the slower the decay is so your bonus lasts longer and you reap the benefits of burn multiplier for longer amount of time.

Wanted to show you some progress on the new averages page. This will have realtime averages for various new data points (based on 31 day average).
The first new data point on this chart is FLUX Minted vs Burned (31 Day Average). This way you can see when we cross into negative inflation average (proving our negative inflation use case). We actually got very close a few days already, but this is the number to watch. When we start going into negative average that means more FLUX is burned than is minted!
As the FLUX pool growth (Currently 53.45% of all FLUX is now on Uniswap) we're entering uncharted territory of demand. I should be able to release the new data point tomorrow so be sure to check it out tomorrow 🔥
The new unified navigation is almost here. It combines the best of decentralized dashboard and our realtime DeFi analytics all in one easy to use navigation.
I've also taken this time to address some of the existing mobile issues with the current navigation. This is another steps towards unifying both projects into a single repository. This all ties into our instant helpdesk release.
I've already finished all of the work required on the pro analytics side, tomorrow I will migrate it over to the decentralized dashboard. In the future I won't have to be do these updates in two places, which is one of the many advantages a unified repository will bring in the future.
This update will be the last for the year and we'll conclude "Open Beta v3" so expect a Medium article released this week with all of the changes that happened between v2 and v3.
Open Beta v4 will have one quarter (3 months) cycle and I expect we'll get the unified repository, more analytics data points and even more updates to Datamine Network. Hoping we'll get to see some new DeFi use cases rise up as well so we can integrate them into the network for realtime analysis as well. 🔥
Finished the new helpdesk splash page. This page contains search & all of the articles within the helpdesk. It'll automatically populate new articles as they are added.
Once our new instant help is launched we'll be redirecting all of the old support urls to new helpdesk page and discontinuing our old centralized help system.
Tomorrow I am going to finish up new combined left nav and if everything goes well release the new helpdesk for you guys to check out! 🔥
Finally finished with all of the help article migration. That means we'll start off strong with over 20 help articles!
I will be further updating & enriching help articles as we continue. Integrating them deeper into the product. I believe once you try out vision of what knowledge-base should be like in 2020, you will wonder why all websites aren't like this.
There were over 102 images in articles alone which I optimized saving ~70% in image size alone. On top of this our Ledger guide was 10MB in image sizes, now it's down to 0.7MB. These optimizations will increase loading time and decrease bandwidth usage.

Added another cool feature today to the upcoming decentralized help. Ability to add custom styling for images without breaking the markdown syntax. This will allow us to add custom style & functionality to each image.
I've attached an example screenshot where we can control different image sizes with following syntax:
Notice the _maxWidth=350 this allows us to style images but also render them properly in other markdown renderers like github.
This along with the custom components from yesterday will allow to complete the remaining article porting. Hoping to crush through a bunch of those this weekend. 🔥
Late night of development today, but I finally got custom widgets to work inside new instant help. Now we can do any custom inserts with code like this:

Pretty epic as it will allow us to do all sorts of custom inline components. Tomorrow I am going to add custom options to images so I can control their behavior better and get a few more articles out of the way.
Spending lots of time on this help as it'll be unified across both dashboards 🔥
Going to take a few more days on the new instant help. I've been adding a bunch of handy features like safe external linking, styling and mobile support.
Will take a couple more days to add more help articles for initial launch and also work a bit on the new unified navigation. Adding markdown support early on will allow us to have SEO-friendly help articles so it's totally worth it. I also wanted to add a helpdesk navigation page (where all articles are listed, similar to https://support.datamine.network/hc/en-us/categories/360004014654-Introduction
I believe this instant help is a great addition to help us to take another step towards decentralization. You'll be able to play around with it very soon. 🔥
