Visualizing Negative Inflation on Datamine

Datamine Network has introduced a new averages page featuring real-time, 31-day rolling metrics designed to bring deeper transparency to the ecosystem. The core addition to this dashboard is the tracking of FLUX Minted vs Burned. This metric provides clear, on-chain proof of when the ecosystem transitions into a negative inflation state.

Negative inflation is achieved when the volume of FLUX burned through ecosystem utility and yield-seeking activities exceeds the total minted by validators. On-chain data indicates that the ecosystem has already hovered near this deflationary threshold, validating Datamine's unique monetary velocity model.

Rising Liquidity and Uncharted Demand

Alongside these analytical enhancements, FLUX continues to establish strong market fundamentals. Approximately 53.45% of the entire circulating supply of FLUX is now committed to Uniswap liquidity pools. This concentration of decentralized liquidity provides the robust market depth needed to absorb trading pressure, reduce volatility, and support the ecosystem's long-term stability.

Hey guys,

Wanted to show you some progress on the new averages page. This will have realtime averages for various new data points (based on 31 day average).

The first new data point on this chart is FLUX Minted vs Burned (31 Day Average). This way you can see when we cross into negative inflation average (proving our negative inflation use case). We actually got very close a few days already, but this is the number to watch. When we start going into negative average that means more FLUX is burned than is minted!

As the FLUX pool growth (Currently 53.45% of all FLUX is now on Uniswap) we're entering uncharted territory of demand. I should be able to release the new data point tomorrow so be sure to check it out tomorrow ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the FLUX Minted vs Burned metric?

It is a real-time, 31-day rolling average on the Datamine dashboard that compares the volume of FLUX tokens minted against the amount burned by users to generate yield.

What is negative inflation in the Datamine Network?

Negative inflation occurs when the burn rate of FLUX exceeds its minting rate, resulting in a net reduction of the circulating supply over a given period.

Why is having 53.45% of FLUX on Uniswap significant?

It indicates a highly liquid market where over half of the circulating supply is pooled. This deep decentralized liquidity mitigates extreme volatility and supports stable decentralized trading.
