Hey guys The Graph integration is live now, we're just resyncing some data but once it finishes we should have more accurate prices for all the historic data.

We actually query USDC/ETH liquidity pool size at specific blocks so the data is the most accurate representation of ETH price. We also save 1000x in storage size going forward this ensures we can scale when the gas prices are solved for Ethereum and transaction throughput increases.

Next update will allow us to add per-block times so we'll resync the ledger data to get a more accurate time representations (instead of guessing the times right now).

This just scratches the surface of the new integration and opens up many doors for us. It's a pretty epic update that I wanted to get out for a while.

The Graph update is a bit bigger than I expected and I'll have a list of all updates/changes and improvements very soon. Today I finished L1 syncing for Uniswap data and the results are as follows:

Old Uniswap Format Data size: 0.932GB

New Uniswap Format Data size: 0.001GB

As you can see it's almost 1000x smaller which ensures we can scale well into the future especially with cheaper gas on L1 and L2.

There are still 3 areas I want to tackle before release:

• Hooking up the block times to be exact for each block (as opposed to guessing). I was waiting for the new Uniswap data format, but I've also made some optimization to graph data fetching that I want to implement in block times

• Finish adding L2 Graph data to Arbitrum (both block times and Uniswap Data)

• Ensure all USDC sources are using the new implementation (Frontend does a call for each user and stackgrewards is also using it)

I am guessing there is a couple days of implementation left, I'll keep you updated. 🔥

Hey guys I just finished our first The Graph subgraph integration.

It's a replacement for how we're fetching block times from the Ethereum Network. The replacement is completely seamless at the moment but allows us to tackle Uniswap liquidity and prices next.

With both of those endpoints converted to The Graph implementation we expect to save 60-80% in network size savings. Meaning we don't have to store and go through as much Uniswap data to get the data shaped in the way we need it.

Currently the subgraph we use for Arbitrum L2 is still syncing so it gives me a bit more time to focus on Uniswap data (otherwise we would've had a release Today!).

Hoping to finish up The Graph integration next week which will mean all of the Uniswap / Block Times and SushiSwap come from The Graph. 🔥
