Enhanced Minting Metrics and Achievements The Datamine Network has introduced a new decentralized achievement badge for validators who restart their DAM minting process with an increased token lockup amount. This milestone-tracking update is designed to incentivize higher validator commitments and deepen the system's long-term staking metrics. Currently, 606 out of 1,940 active mints (approximately 31%) have successfully secured this achievement. Within the Datamine ecosystem, every new achievement unlocked by the community directly generates and tracks a new FLUX core metric, further optimizing the network's on-chain data transparency. ## Understanding the DAM to FLUX Minting Flow In the Datamine monetary system, DAM serves as the foundation token with a fixed cap of 16,876,779. Validators lock DAM on Layer 1 (Ethereum) to mint FLUX, which manages inflation and provides utility. By increasing the locked DAM amount, validators not only optimize their individual yield potentials but also contribute to the overall stability and security of the network. This process represents the secondary functionality of money: locking assets to generate predictable, long-term yield.
