Datamine Network Upgrades Real Time Analytics and Records Massive Burn
๐ก AI Article Summary
Next-Generation Async Analytics and Chain Swaps
We are implementing a lightweight, highly efficient framework to calculate historical averages directly within our decentralized architecture. To prevent code bloat and maintain smart contract elegance, the new approach uses async metadata addition. This allows the system to compute complex 31-day averages for burning, minting, and locking in real-time. Crucially, this setup is designed to handle Ethereum longest-chain swaps, enabling the network to undo actions and recalculate previous averages seamlessly during chain rollbacks.
Record-Breaking FLUX Burn Event
The ecosystem recently achieved a monumental milestone with a single burn of 14,791.66 FLUX. This massive transaction is economically comparable to purchasing and permanently destroying 10% of the active supply in a $100,000 market. With this event, the total value of permanently burned FLUX has surged back to $250,000. These burned tokens are completely removed from circulation, reinforcing the network's deflationary monetary policy and proving the real-world utility of our secondary yield-generation mechanics.
Upcoming Features and Inflation Tracking
In the coming days, users can expect these async metadata enhancements to go live on the dashboard. This update will introduce 31-day charts for burn, mint, and lock averages, ultimately providing highly anticipated visibility into the real-time 31-day inflation rates of the Datamine ecosystem.
Hey guys the averages are taking a bit longer than expected but I've put the groundwork for the new implementation. I've tried about 3 different approaches but was not a fan of the extra code bloat that was introduced. I wanted something that we can apply to other smart contracts a bit easier. Since this is a new pattern in our network I am taking a bit more time with it to ensure I don't redo it again due to Ethereum longest chain swaps.
I found a good fast way to compute averages with longest chain swapping. The new approach allows us to to decorate our realtime analytics with some async logic. Basically this means we can run more complex logic (such as calculating averages) in realtime while also being able to undo those actions and get correct previous average.
Also we've had a MASSIVE burn Today of 14,791.66 FLUX. This is like buying $10,000 from the supply and burning it when the supply is only $100,000. We're now back to $250,000.00 burned in FLUX which is an amazing use case as those funds do not end up back on the market. ๐
I'll have some more updates on this new async metadata addition in the coming days. Expect to see 31 day burn, mint & lock averages very soon. And most important of all we can finally see 31 day inflation, really curious to chart that. ๐ฅ

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the purpose of the new async metadata update?
The update introduces a lightweight method to calculate complex real-time averages (such as 31-day mint, burn, and lock data) while maintaining compatibility with Ethereum longest-chain swaps. This allows the system to seamlessly recalculate historical averages in the event of a chain rollback.
How does the recent FLUX burn impact the ecosystem?
The burn of 14,791.66 FLUX permanently removed a significant portion of the circulating supply. This reduces the active circulating token supply and reinforces the deflationary properties of the network, as these tokens can never return to the open market.
What new metrics will be visible on the Datamine dashboard soon?
Users will soon be able to track 31-day burn, mint, and lock averages, alongside a highly detailed 31-day inflation chart to monitor the ecosystem's real-time monetary velocity.
