Datamine Network Optimizes Ecosystem Analytics with Onchain Resync
💡 AI Article Summary

The Datamine Network has completed a major analytics infrastructure upgrade for the FLUX and ArbiFLUX ecosystems. By implementing an optimized on-chain data syncing process, the database size has been reduced tenfold while maintaining exact data integrity.
Enhanced Layer 2 Accuracy
This upgrade dramatically improves data tracking across both Layer 1 (Ethereum) and Layer 2 (Arbitrum) networks. Accurate analytics are critical for Datamine's decentralized architecture, which relies on real-time metrics to monitor token burn rates, circulating supply, and dynamic inflation. The reduced storage footprint allows the ecosystem to scale efficiently as transaction volume increases.
Smooth Production Rollout
The new syncing system will be deployed to production in the coming days. To complete the transition, the team will clear existing analytics data and run a complete re-sync. This entire restoration process is projected to take only 30 minutes, delivering a highly optimized, high-performance data pipeline for the community with minimal disruption.

Hey guys,

I've just finished a complete resync of analytics for FLUX + ArbiFLUXArbiFLUX ecosystem. Using a completely new syncing process for on-chain data I was able to get 10x smaller database size for exact same amount of data!

The new sync is also accurate for L2 data (as you can see from the screenshot). Overall this should give us a lot more accuracy going forward and also give us some more room to scale as the database size is greatly reduced!

This was a very important project for us as accuracy of analytics is our top priority.

Aiming to get this deployed to production in the coming days. Meaning we'll be wiping all the stored data and re-syncing everything (which should take roughly 30 minutes for all ecosystems🔥 )

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the new Datamine analytics update achieve?

The update introduces an optimized on-chain syncing process that reduces database size by 10x while maintaining absolute data accuracy for both Layer 1 FLUX and Layer 2 ArbiFLUX.

Why is database optimization important for Datamine?

A smaller database footprint ensures the system can scale efficiently as transaction volume grows. It also improves real-time data accuracy for key on-chain metrics like burning and validator participation.

Will there be any network downtime during deployment?

The migration requires wiping existing analytics data and running a fresh sync in production. This complete restoration process is estimated to take only 30 minutes, causing minimal disruption.

Does this update affect Layer 2 ArbiFLUX data?

Yes, the new syncing process ensures high data accuracy specifically for Layer 2 metrics on Arbitrum, alongside Layer 1 FLUX data.
