Datamine Network Integrates Advanced Uniswap V3 Analytics

💡 AI Article Summary
Bridging Uniswap V3 Pools and NFT Data
Datamine Network has successfully engineered a multi-smart contract data stream that combines the Uniswap NFT (ERC-721) contract with the Uniswap Pool contract. This integration addresses a common limitation in decentralized finance analytics: tracking active liquidity ownership.
Because Uniswap V3 liquidity positions are tokenized as ERC-721 NFTs, standard pool-level data cannot easily verify who currently owns a specific position after it has been transferred. By streaming data from both smart contracts simultaneously, Datamine provides accurate, real-time tracking of active liquidity providers.
Real-Time Liquidity Metrics on the Frontend
This newly integrated data point will soon be visible on the Datamine dashboard. The initial release introduces key metrics for Uniswap V3 positions, including:
- Locked Assets: The precise amount of FLUX and ETH locked within each Uniswap NFT.
- Current Ownership: Direct tracking of the active Ethereum address holding the liquidity position.
- Tick Ranges: The active concentration brackets for the liquidity, which will translate into user-friendly ETH/FLUX price ranges.
- Pool Share: The total percentage of pool ownership represented by the position.
This update advances Datamine’s commitment to transparent, immutable on-chain data, offering users unprecedented visibility into the ecosystem's decentralized liquidity structure.
Hey guys,
I've just completed our first multi-smart contract streaming into Datamine Network data point. This means we combine the Uniswap NFT Smart Contract together with the Uniswap Pool contract to get some advanced analytics.
**Why was this necessary? Can't you just take the analytics from Uniswap Pool Smart Contract? **
When you mint a Uniswap NFT all further transactions (such as transferring ownership) happen in a separate ERC 721 contract. This means if you just take data from Uniswap Pool Smart Contract you won't be able to accurately identify who currently owns NFT.
Tomorrow I will add this data point to the frontend and try to release it by Tuesday. For this initial version you'll be able to see:
How much FLUX & ETH is locked-in the Uniswap NFT
Who owns the NFT at the moment (this was the tricky part)
Tick range (This will be expanded in the future to show proper ETH/FLUX ranges based on Uniswap formulas)
Pool Ownership % (Based on minted liquidity tokens)
Pretty sure we're the first to offer such in-depth analytics for Uniswap V3 and we're just getting started!
Be sure to follow the updates as we roll out this first Uniswap V3 data point 🔥
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is combining the Uniswap NFT and Pool contracts necessary for analytics?
In Uniswap V3, liquidity positions are represented as ERC-721 NFTs. While the pool contract tracks raw liquidity details, ownership transfers occur on a separate NFT contract. Combining both contracts is required to accurately identify the current owner of a specific liquidity position.
What metrics will the new Uniswap V3 dashboard display?
The updated frontend will show the amount of FLUX and ETH locked in each Uniswap NFT, the current owner of the NFT, the tick range of the liquidity, and the overall pool ownership percentage.
How does this update benefit the Datamine Network ecosystem?
It provides deep, transparent, and real-time analytical insights into pool ownership and liquidity. This aligns with Datamine's core philosophy that decentralized liquidity is the key metric of a healthy monetary system.
